The First Planned Charity Poker Tournament

Planned Charity Poker Tournament!

On July 13th, Planned Companies’ Culture Committee hosted our first Planned Charity Poker Tournament! We split everyone into two tournaments, the “beginners” game and the “Players” game. A few of the selected charities include water.org , St Jude’s, Autism Spectrum Disorder Foundation, Crohn’s and Colitis foundation, Sloan Kettering and more!

As the dust settled and the tables cleared out, we had our winners. Congratulations to Chrisptin Hulse, Operations Manager for NJ and Charles Cronk (with Rob’s chips), Executive Director for Southern NJ/Philadelphia Region, for splitting first place in the “Players” game. Congratulations to Stacey Almonte, Operations Assistant for PBS, and Ugo Bellomo, Operations Manager for Northern NJ for splitting the beginners game!

Overall, we raised $1,950 for charity (included in this total was $650 donated from Planned Companies)! Since there was a split between both games, the total has been divided between St. Jude’s, National Autism Association and the WINGS Cancer Foundation. Thank you to everyone who donated and participated in the event! More photos on our Facebook page at http://bit.ly/fbplanned
