PLANNED COMPANIES GREEN PROGRAM

At Planned Companies, we realize the importance of “going green” and are proud to be at the forefront of the green cleaning movement in the janitorial services industry. Since its launch in 2008, the Planned “Goes Green” program has been instrumental in setting the standard for green cleaning. By implementing new cleaning systems and establishing a knowledgeable team of LEED-accredited professionals, we continue to raise the bar to meet the growing needs of our environmentally-conscious client base.

Green Cleaning Solutions

Planned Building Services uses GS-37 (Green Seal) Cleaning Solutions, which are Environmental Protection Agency-approved cleaning alternatives. These products have stronger health and environmental protection benefits, including a prohibition of ingredients known to cause allergic-type asthma, tighter restrictions on ingredients that can cause indoor air pollution and strengthened limits on chemicals that can be absorbed through the skin. In addition to using Green Seal products, all Planned Building Services associates undergo extensive training on green cleaning techniques and how to effectively use GS-37 products.

LEED® Accredited Professional Commitment

Furthering our commitment to the green movement, Planned has obtained accreditation and project certification in The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System sponsored by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). This system encourages the adoption of sustainable green building and development practices and indicates a thorough understanding of green building principles.

The Planned team has a number of LEED-accredited professionals, including the CEO and EVP, which enables us to implement and consult on green practices and LEED certification projects. We hold a strong commitment to ensuring that we are environmentally responsible, making your property a healthy place to live or work.
