CORPORATE HISTORY

PLANNED BUILDING SERVICES has a proud history in the contract manpower and building maintenance industry. Through the ownership and operations of predecessor companies, All State Cleaning Contractors, Atlantic Window Cleaning Company and Atlantic Building Maintenance Corporation, we have been a consistent leader in the service industry since 1898.

We are proud to be providing quality client service to our customers for over 100 years!

Planned Building Services combines the technical skills and experience of key personnel associated with the former companies with the strong management and leadership skills of our organization. Through our dynamic management structure, with a modern approach to personnel management, we emphasize customer service and satisfaction. Our dedicated management and experienced personnel encompasses the best that the service industry has to offer.

PURPOSE AND MISSION

Planned Building Services exists to make buildings cleaner and safer, resulting in better/healthier lives for the tenants, residents and communities that we service.

To accomplish our mission, Planned Building Services will provide professional, caring, organized and responsive service for our valued clientele. Our dedication to our mission will make a significant, positive difference for our customers.

QUALITY CONTROL PROGRAM

The primary reason for our success is our concern and attention to the needs of each of our customers. We pioneered the concept of Regional Supervision. Within this concept, a specific individual is assigned a limited number of accounts, within a defined geographical area, to oversee our performance in accordance with the following procedures:

1) Our regional supervisor for your vicinity will make weekly tours of your facilities in order to ascertain and maintain the quality of services at the level required by your organization. We encourage a representative of your organization to be part of the quality control process by attending the tours and providing feedback.

2) Our regional supervisor will also work with our on-site supervisor and staff to ensure that there is an immediate response to any deficiency found to exist, as well as to ensure that the quality of service is at the highest level possible.

In the service industry, a contract manpower and building maintenance company has no real physical product which can be examined or measured. We are judged entirely by the standards set by you, the customer. In an environment like this, quality control is critical. Performance standards must not only be established and met, but also surpassed.

To make certain that these high standards are maintained, our staff conducts regular spot checks of your premises and actively seeks ways to further improve our services. Furthermore, our senior operations staff and company management conduct their own individual, unscheduled inspections.

Through our parent company, PSS’ tradition has spanned over 100 years, and continues to grow and flourish today. Our corporation is headquartered in Fairfield, New Jersey, and is comprised of industry specialists and security professionals. Our experience and dedicated management team and on site personnel are focused on both the enforcement of building policy and procedures, as well as customer service.
